The top picture looks like a fish, but so what? Are you going to turn them into little stuffed fish somehow? No, that's totally silly because fish aren't brown.
I took your plea for a CIC Gansey pattern to heart enough to feel really quilty that I'm probably not going to do it. At least not right now.
I've got four sweaters and a vest done for this challenge and am ready to knit something else for a while.
It will be interesting to see what kind of patterns are created. Are you doing one?
